"We are very thankful for the time you gave to both of us. I found it really helpful to be able to talk through some of the issues with you. My husband has been in hospital many times over the years of our marriage, but this is the first time I have really felt involved in discussions about his treatment etc., and I feel you played an important part in that. Your role is definitely a very valuable one." ~ Client's Spouse (2023)

"I like George's clinical practice style, and I do think he is effective in his role. His profession needs more like him. He is nurturing, warm, smart and funny. In my opinion, his biggest strength is that he relates well with people of all sorts and is able and willing to make connections that are meaningful." ~ Colleague (2023)
"Dr. Baldwin was a great help in guiding me and helping me work through 2 situations that I was struggling with (one professional, one personal). After just 8 sessions, I totally changed my way of seeing my situations, was able to take concrete actions to solving certain issues, and came away with tools and strategies to maintain my progress on my own now that the sessions have finished. Dr. Baldwin is kind, easy to relate to, professional, and asks the right questions to get you heading in the right direction. I definitely recommend working with him." ~ Client (2024)
"George is a compassionate, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and forward thinking colleague. I'm always struck by his ability to offer an ear to everyone he encounters. I've learned a lot from him. He's an asset to any team." ~ Colleague (2024)
"George was a pleasure to work with at Woodlands. He always went out of his way to offer support to anybody in need, particularly junior members of the team. He worked hard and was passionate about meeting the needs of service users." ~ Colleague (2024)
"I would like to thank you for your time, your patience and your support and for listening to me; it did really help. I’m sure as time goes on I will continue to come to terms with the situation and that is due in no small part to knowing you would listen and not judge." ~ Client (2024)
"George is exceptionally kind, compassionate, considerate and strives to take everyone into account. He is always looking for ways of innovating and improving services and is rigorous in his self reflection - sometimes he needs to dial back a little as I think can take a bit too much on - self care! George makes the work environment a better place, for staff and service users alike." ~ Colleague (2024)
"Firstly, thank you, thank you thank you. You have been an invaluable tower of support to us during this very difficult time. My Dad has a particular soft spot for you. The advice you have detailed will be most useful in both the short and long term so thank you also for that. We have had an all round very positive experience and have felt so very well supported." ~ Client (2024)
"George has developed and run a psychology and therapy service for the service users, families, carers and staff of Willows Ward (older people's ward in Ipswich). He has gone over and above the expectations of him as a newly qualified psychologist, offering individual therapy with people, family/carer interventions, formulations and consultations to support Positive Behaviour Support Plans and clinical risk assessment and planning, training and reflective practice for staff, de-briefs and staff support as well as leading a QI project on formulation based discharge planning and in-reach in to the community. He has supervised Assistant Psychologists and Clinical Associate Psychologists and worked closely and collaboratively with AHP colleagues and the wider MDT. His work has had a significant positive impact on the therapeutic milieux of the ward and has supported and enabled the MDT to work more collaboratively, using a bio-psycho-social, person-centred and trauma informed approach to patient care, thinking across the health and care system. Feedback from service users, families and staff alike reflects that George demonstrates huge compassion, enthusiasm, commitment, dedication and vision in his work and a strong desire to take every opportunity to improve patient care. He is emerging as a strong leader and he will go far in his career." ~ Psychological Therapies Service Lead (2024)
